Breeding Programs:

Our stud services are part of carefully curated breeding programs that prioritize health, temperament, and conformation of breed. We believe in contributing to the betterment of the Dachshund breed by pairing our sires with compatible females to ensure the birth of healthy, well-balanced puppies.

Requirements for Stud Services:

To ensure the well-being of our breeding dogs and the health of future litters, we have specific requirements for our stud services:

1. Proof of Vaccinations: We require proof of vaccinations for all breeding dogs, including vaccinations for Kennel Cough. This ensures a healthy breeding environment and reduces the risk of contagious diseases.

2. Vet Health Certificate: A current Vet Health Certificate is mandatory for all potential mates. This certificate verifies the overall health and fitness of the female dog, ensuring a safe and successful breeding process.

3. DNA Testing: We conduct DNA testing to ensure the accuracy of parentage and to screen for any hereditary conditions. This step is crucial in maintaining the health and genetic integrity of our Dachshund line.  We expect you to do the same and share the results with us for our own review.

Pricing and Options:

Our stud services come with transparent pricing, and we also offer a Breeder’s Choice option. All Breeding require a $500 payment up front, with remainder due after a successful litter is welped.  We guarantee a successful litter welping with our stud.  Should your dame not concieve, payment is rolled over to the next successive attempt.

• Flat Rate: Upfront pricing, with each sire having a specific flat-rate amount.  Full amount is due upon successful litter welping.
• Puppy Rate: Based on the average fair market value for a puppy in the litter. The final price is determined after the litter is born, and payment is due at that time.
• Breeders Choice:  You provide us with the opportunity for the first pick of the litter. We conduct DNA testing on potential candidates at our own expense before final selection. If none of the puppies meet our criteria for the continuation of our breeding program, we default to the Puppy Rate, due at the litter age of 9 weeks.
