Partial Refund Policy

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and while we are committed to finding the best solution for the puppy and the owner, we now offer a Partial Refund for returns outside of our Health Guarantee.

• Refund Details:

  • The price of the puppy (excluding the deposit) will be refunded via check once the puppy has been returned and examined by our veterinarian.
  • The refund amount will be calculated as follows:
    • The price of the puppy, less the deposit (or 1/3 of the price paid if no deposit was provided), minus any additional costs incurred to restore the puppy’s health if returned unhealthy or without updated vaccinations.

• Veterinary Evaluation:
  Upon return, the puppy will undergo a full health check by our veterinarian to assess its condition. Any costs necessary to bring the puppy back to health will be deducted from the refund.

Our “No Questions Asked” Approach:

We recognize that circumstances may arise where a return is the best option for both the puppy and the owner. Our “No Questions Asked” return service is designed to be a compassionate and understanding solution.

1. Financial Considerations: By adopting a “No Questions Asked” approach, we acknowledge the potential challenges of finding a new home for older puppies and dogs. This approach is intended to make the return process as smooth as possible for you, our valued puppy parent.

2. Open Communication: While we may ask questions about the behavior and well-being of the puppy or dog, this is solely to ensure that we can find the most suitable new home for our mutual furry friend. However, we want to emphasize that answering these questions is entirely voluntary. You are under no obligation to provide answers to questions that you are uncomfortable addressing.

The Smooth Return Process:

1. Contact Us: Reach out to us to discuss the situation. We are here to support you through the process and address any concerns you may have.

2. No Obligation to Answer: While we may ask questions, you are free to state if you do not wish to answer any or all of them. Our goal is to make the return process as smooth and stress-free as possible for you.

3. Ownership Transfer: If the puppy has already been registered with the AKC, we require ownership to be transferred back to us. Rest assured, any expenses related to this transfer will be covered by Barkeyville Dachshunds.
