Our Miniature Dachshunds are priced between $1,500 – $3,000, depending on various factors such as coat color, gender, and breeding history. This is for a Pet registration, also known as Limited Registration in AKC. We do require a non-refundable deposit of $500 to reserve it for you and your family. This deposit goes towards the cost of the puppy and covers the cost of reserving your chosen puppy and ensures that it is held for you until it is ready to go to its new home.
Breeding and showing rights, also known as Full Registration for AKC, can be granted for an additional $500.
Our puppies are either AKC or ACA registered. Please see individual puppies for kennel club registration type.
Our breeding program involves Embark DNA testing of all our Dames and Sires to ensure that they are healthy and meet our high standards for breeding. While we do not test individual puppies as a standard practice, we do offer DNA testing on a case-by-case basis. This testing screens for over 190 genetic health conditions, as well as traits and ancestry information. We believe in being transparent about our breeding program and ensuring that our Miniature Dachshunds are healthy and happy. Thank you for considering our Miniature Dachshunds as your future companion.
We take great care to ensure that none of our puppies are double dapples. All of our Sires are merle-free and we only breed our dames with the merle gene to non-merle partners, which greatly reduces the risk of double dapple puppies.
While we carefully plan our breeding pairs, we cannot guarantee the specific coat color, pattern or type of puppy that will be produced in the future. However, we are happy to add you to our contact list and inform you when a litter becomes available that may match your preferences. Please keep in mind that some coat styles or colors are rarer and may not be produced as frequently as others. We appreciate your understanding and hope to help you find the perfect puppy in the future.
Yes, we welcome visitors to come see the parents and older puppies. However, for the safety of both visitors and puppies, we discourage onsite visits during the early weeks when puppies are most vulnerable. We do offer video calls to allow you to see the litter and ask any questions you may have if you are not able to visit in person. Please feel free to contact us to schedule a video call or to arrange a visit when the puppies are a bit older.
Feel free to reach out to us and we will get back to you to answer any of your pressing questions.
